Battle of Books

During library class, my class was put into groups to play Battle of Books. I like to call it BOB. BOB is where we compete against other classes. Someone will ask us a question from a BOB book, and we have to try and answer it. Together me and my partners Connor, Kristina, and Erika won 2 out of 3 of the BOB groups. BOB has been a very fun experience that I have loved ever since my first year and I really hope we do it next year.

About me

Hi! my name is Thomas, but you can call me Tom. I have a mom and dad, a brother, and a sister. I was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA and stayed there for eight years before moving to Singapore. Being in second grade at the time, this was a very big change for me. As hard as it was to say my final goodbyes to some of my closest friends, I’m glad we came to Singapore. It allowed me to see parts of the world that I would have never been able to see back in North Carolina. Not to mention the fact that I’ve met so many new friends here in the Singapore American School or SAS as we call it. SAS was another one of the big changes in my life. When I came to Singapore, I had only had memory of one other school in North Carolina called Lead Mine Elementary School. So coming to SAS was different and took me some time to get used to. I have spent three years here in SAS so far, and I’m just starting sixth grade. I have wondered about how middle school would turn out since fifth grade ended and now I finally get to see what it’s like. I guess you could say that I’m ready for another adventure.
