Earlier in the year I tried out for select soccer in my EASA program. When I found out I had made it I was very surprised because last year I didn't even go to the try outs cause I didn't think I was good enough. When I went to the first practice the one sentence that put confidence in me was when my coach said to us "You guys are the best of the best" It made me feel good to hear someone say I was the best of the best when last year I thought I was the worst of the worst. During our first and second games my team did good, but when we found out we were in the finals we did AMAZING! Even with the other teams getting better and better, we still caught up with them. I was also AMAZED of how many goals I had gotten during my time on the team. I had gotten 5 goals! You can probably imagine how happy I was when I scored them. When we got to the final game: S.A.S. v Swiss school, I couldn't believe it but we lost. We had only lost two games in the whole season and on the final game we lost. So even though we got silver and not gold I'll always remember being on select soccer and I'll always remember how proud I felt along the way.
